The Queen Of Heels, Mussoorie

If you are a traveler loving hill stations then Mussoorie is the perfect place for a North-Indian holiday destination for relaxing in the lap of nature . It is well connected by road, train and air. Dehradun  is the nearest station for air and rail travel . Here you have to get down and take a taxi, it's just 35 kilometers from the state capital. From Delhi it is 290 kilometers and you can get an A.C bus from Kashmere Gate bus stand in the morning about 10.30 am and one bus at night about 10.20 pm. It is situated in the foothills of Garhwal Himalayan ranges, thus it is called the "Queen of Hills". From the sea level this place is 1880 meters around 6170 ft and the highest peak "Lal Tibba" is in the altitude of 3000 meters i.e. almost 9800 feet.

Where to Stay:
Mussoorie offers a lots of luxurious, moderate and budget hotels you can choose either after reaching or you can book it online before coming here. You can book very good accommodations with scenic view near "Clock Tower" and "Camel back Road".It is highly advised to book your hotel in advance if you are coming in a peak season, peak season means either in summer or in winter or long weekend.

Places of Interest in Mussoorie
Kempty Fall :
It is situated near the hilly tracks of Uttarakhand where you will find all the higher ranges of mountain at an altitude of 4500 feet though Kempty Fall is about 1364 meter above the sea level. This is the place where you can enjoy with bath with chilled , clean and fresh mountain water. If you taste the water it's simply sweet just like packaged mineral water. This place is also famous for picnic activities. 
Gun Hill Point :This is the another most famous attractions in Mussoorie which is famous among the local guys as " Lal Tibba" around 7500 meter from the sea level surrounded with pine and deodar tree , the most greenery place ever find in Mussoorie. This point is surrounded with the highest Himalayan ranges named Srikantha, Philwara and Gangotri. From here you can see with the help of the binocular  the China border and Tibetan ranges if you are quite lucky and the climate is clear. You can enjoy a good tea here.You can see from this point the view of Mussoorie town and Doon Valley. You must not ignore this place if you are visiting Mussoorie.
Chirst Church :
This is one of the center point of attraction in Mussoorie as it is considered as one of the oldest church in the Himalayan ranges and it s more than 100 year old church. The most attraction of this place is Pre- raphaelite glass which describes the life of Jesus Chirst in a dynamic way with it's Gothic style architecture and colonial feel. You should must visit  this place.
Camel Back Road :
  • This is a 3 km stretch road here you can enjoy a walk in the morning as well as in the evening where you can see the view of romantic sunrise and sunset beauty from the natural atmosphere. This 3 km road is named as Camel Back Road due to the presence of rock shapes likes a camel humps at the end point. Here with a little distance of patches some halting towers are made you can have a rest and enjoy your snacks and tea.The place is ideal for honey-moon couples. You can find a lots of good hotel on the right side of the road.
Picture Palace :
Finally and last places to visit is "The Picture Palace" the name suites it's best as here you can enjoy a good time. If you are a gamer you can play some video games, you child can play too and there is a most interesting hall called "The Scary House" . It is highly advised if you are a heart patient, any pregnant women or aged people with weak heart and children below eighteen must not visit to this house, though me and my wife visited this place found it great never seen before of this type. The entry fee per person is Rs.150/- and you can enjoy this house for 30 minutes, a guy will be accompanied with you while visiting, but other people can visit the 3d movie theater where one can enjoy movies related animation based on 3d.
Mall Road :
Like every hill station Mussoorie has a mall road where you can shop the handicraft things like hand made bags, bamboo made products  a lot of things that you need to make your home beautiful . Here you also find a good veg and non-veg restaurant for lunch and dinner.
